Criminal Gang Busted, Woman’s Assassin Held

Wah Cantt: The Wah Saddar police on Friday busted a gang involved in snatching and motorcycle theft, arresting two of its members and recovering stolen items, including motorcycles and cash.

According to a police spokesperson, acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the gang’s hideout and apprehended two members, identified as Farooq and Bilal, who were involved in multiple snatching and theft cases.

In a separate operation, police arrested a man accused of fatally shooting a woman over a family dispute in the Muneerabad area on September 15. The accused, Wahid, allegedly shot and killed 30-year-old Bisma Bibi before going into hiding.

Based on intelligence, a police party raided his hideout and arrested him. Cases have been registered, and investigations are underway.
