Ingredients
For Dough:
- All-purpose flour – 3 cups
- Water – as required
For Creamy Chicken Mixture:
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Onion (chopped) – ½ cup
- Chicken (boiled & shredded) – 500g
- Green chilies (chopped) – 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Dairy Cream – ½ pack
For Assembling Paratha:
- Prepared dough – as required
- Prepared creamy chicken mixture – as required
- Mozzarella cheese – as required
- Ghee – as required
Method
- Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt. Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough. Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 15–20 minutes. - Cook the Chicken Mixture:
Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions until translucent. Add shredded chicken, green chilies, black pepper, red chili powder, salt, and cumin powder. Cook for 1–2 minutes, then stir in Dairy Cream. Let it simmer for another 1–2 minutes. Set aside to cool. - Assemble the Paratha:
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into flat sheets. Spread a generous amount of the creamy chicken mixture on one sheet, top with mozzarella cheese, and cover with another sheet. Seal the edges by pressing them together. - Cook the Paratha:
Heat ghee on a preheated griddle (tawa). Place the stuffed paratha on the griddle and cook each side for 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown.
