CPO Emphasizes Election Code Adherence

Rawalpindi: City Police Officer, Syed Khalid Hamdani, chaired a meeting at the Police Lines Headquarters, stressing strict adherence to the Election Commission of Pakistan’s Code of Conduct for the forthcoming elections.
The meeting, attended by senior police officials including SSPs, Divisional SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs, focused on finalizing a comprehensive security plan for the secure transportation of election-related materials.
Assuring a robust security strategy, the CPO highlighted the utilization of all available resources to maintain law and order across the city. The plan includes strategic patrolling and picketing at key locations.
Emphasizing a coordinated security approach at various police levels, the CPO urged every officer to uphold their responsibility in ensuring peaceful elections, labeling it a crucial national duty. He stressed zero tolerance towards any negligence in duty performance.
Directing officers to prioritize security measures in their respective areas, the CPO underscored the importance of their vigilance and proactive actions.
