Expressing satisfaction over the recent decline in house robberies and vehicle thefts—particularly luxury vehicle theft—the CPO commended the police force for their swift action in foiling a recent bank robbery attempt.
However, he stressed the need for continued vigilance and urged officers to intensify efforts against drug dealers and other criminal elements. He also directed strict monitoring of individuals with criminal records to prevent future unlawful activities.
Highlighting community safety, the CPO ordered that records of all tenants be maintained and emphasized the need to eliminate begging at road intersections.
“The prime duty of the police is to protect the lives and properties of citizens,” he said, adding that “delivering justice remains our top priority and will be ensured at all costs.”
