Continental air continues to dominate Pakistan’s weather patterns
News Desk
Lahore: Continental air continues to dominate weather patterns across Pakistan, keeping most parts of the country under dry and cold conditions.
According to the Met Office, a shallow westerly wave is likely to affect the upper regions from tonight. The forecast suggests mainly dry weather across the plains, while hilly areas will remain cold during morning and night hours. However, partly cloudy skies with light rain are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and adjoining mountainous regions.
Officials warned that the persistent dry spell and rising atmospheric pollution could worsen smog in eastern Punjab districts. Citizens have been advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
