Cold Weather to Prevail in KP

Peshawar: The Provincial Meteorological Center (PMC) in Peshawar on Tuesday predicted that mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province, while very cold in upper districts and hilly areas.
It said that foggy conditions are expected over Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, and DI Khan districts, as well as over Motorway (M1) / Highways at night and early in the morning.
Cold and dry weather persisted across most districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) over the past 24 hours. There was no recorded rainfall (in mm) during this period at various stations throughout the province.
The maximum and minimum temperatures, measured in centigrade, were as follows at different stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:
Peshawar: 26°C (max) / 05°C (min)
Chitral: 18°C (max) / -01°C (min)
Timergara: 22°C (max) / 02°C (min)
Dir: 22°C (max) / -01°C (min)
Mirkhani: 21°C (max) / 01°C (min)
Kalam: 18°C (max) / -05°C (min)
Drosh: 17°C (max) / 04°C (min)
Saidu Sharif: 22°C (max) / 01°C (min)
Pattan: 24°C (max) / 15°C (min)
Malam Jabba: 12°C (max) / 02°C (min)
Takht Bhai: 23°C (max) / 04°C (min)
Kakul: 20°C (max) / 03°C (min)
Balakot: 23°C (max) / 04°C (min)
Parachinar: 17°C (max) / 01°C (min)

The lowest temperature recorded in the province was -05°C in both Kalam and Tirah valley of Khyber district.
