Peshawar: The Department of Meteorology on Sunday predicted cold and dry weather conditions in most districts in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Additionally, there’s a likelihood of fog during the morning and evening hours in Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, and Bannu.

Notably, Kalam has witnessed a drop in temperature, plunging below freezing to minus 4 degrees Celsius, as confirmed by an official from the Met Office. Peshawar’s minimum temperature rests at 3 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is expected to reach 19 degrees Celsius, as mentioned by another official.

Similarly, varying temperatures were recorded in other districts: Dir at minus 2, Chitral at minus 1, Parachinar at zero, Malam Jabba at 1, and Takhtbhai at 3 degrees Celsius, stated an official from the Meteorological Department of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
