Cold Spell Expected Across Parts of KP

Peshawar: The Provincial Meteorological Centre in Peshawar foresees predominantly cold and dry weather prevailing across most districts of the province.
Anticipate dense foggy conditions in the mornings and nights over Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, DI Khan districts, as well as along motorways (M1) and highways. Travelers are strongly advised to exercise caution and take necessary safety measures.
Over the past 24 hours, most districts in the province experienced cold and dry weather. Rainfall recorded at various stations across KPK stood at zero.
Temperature recordings in degrees Celsius from different stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were as follows: Peshawar 23/04, Chitral 21/01, Timergara 21/03, Dir 21/-01, Mirkhani 23/00, Kalam 17/-03, Drosh 18/05, Saidu Sharif 21/03, Pattan 24/15, Malam Jabba 15/04, Takht Bhai 22/04, Kakul 19/03, Balakot 22/02, Parachinar 20/01, Bannu 23/07, Cherat 14/05, and DI Khan City 25/09.
The lowest temperature recorded was -03 °C in the Tirah valley of Khyber district and Kalam.
