Cold, Dry Weather Will Prevail in KP

Peshawar: The Provincial Meteorological Centre in Peshawar has forecast predominantly cold and dry weather across most districts of the province, with notably frigid conditions in upper districts and hilly areas.
Foggy conditions are expected in Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, and DI Khan districts, as well as on motorways (M1) and highways during the night and early mornings.
Over the past 24 hours, most districts experienced cold and partly cloudy weather, with no recorded rainfall at various stations in KPK. The recorded maximum and minimum temperatures in Celsius at different stations across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa were as follows:
- Peshawar: 26°C / 05°C
- Chitral: 18°C / 00°C
- Timergara: 22°C / 02°C
- Dir: 21°C / -01°C
- Mirkhani: 19°C / 01°C
- Kalam: 17°C / -05°C
- Drosh: 16°C / 03°C
- Saidu Sharif: 21°C / 02°C
- Pattan: 23°C / 14°C
- Malam Jabba: 12°C / 02°C
- Takht Bhai: 24°C / 04°C
- Kakul: 20°C / 03°C
- Balakot: 22°C / 03°C
- Parachinar: 17°C / 02°C
- Bannu: 25°C / 08°C
- Cherat: 17°C / 06°C
- DI Khan City: 26°C / 09°C
The lowest temperatures recorded were -05°C in Kalam and -03°C in the Tirah valley of Khyber district.
