Cold, Dry Weather Forecasted In Most Parts Of Country: PMD

Islamabad/Peshawar: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) and Provincial Meteorological Center (PMC) Peshawar have predicted mainly cold and dry weather for the majority of the country and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, respectively, over the next 24 hours.

The synoptic condition indicated that continental air dominated over most of the country. During the last 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperatures recorded are: Kalam, Leh -16 °C; Astore -09; Gupis -06; Bagrote, Dir, Skardu -05;MalamJabba, Parachinar, Rawalakot, Quetta, and Gilgit -04°C.

Cold, dry weather forecast for KP

The PMC Peshawar on Tuesday predicted that very cold weather is expected in upper districts and hilly areas. Isolated light rain and drizzle with light snowfall over hills is likely to occur over Chitral, Upper Dir and Upper Swat districts. In the past 24 hours, the majority of the province’s districts saw chilly, dry weather, with exceptionally cold temperatures in the upper districts.
