Cold, Dry Weather Forecast for KP and Sindh

Peshawar/Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast cold and dry weather for most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Sindh over the next 24 hours.

In KP, hilly, upper, and mountainous areas are expected to experience severe cold with partly cloudy conditions. Rain is likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Abbottabad, Kohistan, and Torghar districts, while Batagram, Mansehra, and Kurram may see rain accompanied by strong winds and snowfall in the mountainous regions.

The Met office also warned that fog may develop in some plain areas, potentially reducing visibility.

Meanwhile, most districts of Sindh are expected to witness cold and dry conditions, with temperatures remaining low across the province, according to the PMD.

Residents have been advised to take necessary precautions against cold weather, particularly in hilly and snow-prone areas.
