Islamabad: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of the Pakistan Army, held an interactive session with probationary officers from the 52nd Common Training Program (CTP) of the Civil Services Academy at the Army Auditorium.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the officers had recently completed field attachments with various Pakistan Army formations across both operational and peacetime locations in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.

These attachments offered them valuable exposure to the functioning of all three armed services through multiple visits and engagements. The session with the COAS was part of a wider national effort to promote institutional harmony and deepen understanding between the civil and military leadership.

In his address, the COAS spoke on vital national matters, including the current internal and external security challenges, the importance of national security, and the Pakistan Armed Forces’ essential role in maintaining regional stability and national sovereignty. He stressed the need for inter-institutional coordination, mutual respect, and a united national vision to advance Pakistan’s strategic and development goals.

Field Marshal Munir also emphasized the critical importance of an efficient, transparent, and service-oriented civil bureaucracy in ensuring effective state governance. He urged the young officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and patriotism in the discharge of their duties.

The probationary officers expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to interact directly with senior military leadership, gaining insight into the Army’s strategic perspective, operational capabilities, and broad-based contributions to national development and resilience.

The session also featured a dynamic question-and-answer segment, fostering an environment of open dialogue, shared responsibility, and collective commitment to Pakistan’s continued progress.
