Civic Services to ICT Residents at Kathnar Park

News Desk

Islamabad: As part of the ICT Doorstep Initiative, the Excise Department is facilitating residents of the federal capital by offering civic services, including vehicle registration and access to essential services, at Kathnar Park.

The initiative, directed by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, involves deploying excise staff at the park’s parking lot between 3:00 and 5:00 pm, as informed by ICT Spokesman Dr Abdullah Tabassum.

The primary objective of this initiative is to streamline processes and enhance public convenience, specifically in matters related to vehicle registration, transfer, and token tax procedures.

To further benefit the public, the Facilitation Centre Doorstep ICT Vehicle will extend its services beyond vehicle-related matters to include the issuance of documents such as domicile certificates and birth certificates.

Additionally, the center will handle requests for power of attorney, international driving permits, fuel permits (both domestic and commercial), and general motor vehicle registration.

This comprehensive approach seeks to provide residents with a one-stop solution for various essential services, making it more convenient for them to fulfill their administrative and regulatory requirements.

The presence of excise staff at Kathnar Park during specified hours enhances accessibility and ensures that these services are readily available to the public.
