Cholistan Desert Rally to Begin on February 11

Lodhran: The 20th edition of the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) International Cholistan Desert Rally and Cultural Festival 2025 is set to commence on February 11.
According to TDCP Regional Manager Bahawalpur, Naeem Iqbal, the registration process for the rally is currently underway and will remain open until February 10. The event will witness participation from over 150 national and international racers, including competitors from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, the UAE, and other countries.
This year, a challenging 576-kilometer-long track has been prepared across Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan. For the first time, the rally will also feature dirt bike and truck races.
The inauguration ceremony will take place in Bahawalpur on February 11. The schedule includes registration, technical inspections, medical examinations, and a drivers’ conference on February 12, followed by the qualifying round for all categories on February 13.
The first round of the prepared men’s and women’s race is scheduled for February 14, while the stock men’s and women’s category race, a cultural night, and fireworks will take place on February 15.
The final round, featuring the prepared men’s and women’s race, dirt bike and quad race, truck race, and the prize distribution ceremony, will conclude the event on February 16.
