Ingredients:

  • 25-28 pieces K&N’s Tender Pops

  • 1 cube K&N’s Stok

  • ¼ cup oil

  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic

  • ½ cup chopped spring onion (white part)

  • Garlic sauce, as required

  • ½ cup water

  • ¼ cup slurry (3 tbsp corn flour dissolved in ¼ cup water)

  • 2-3 sliced red chillies

  • Spring onion (green part), as required, chopped

  • White sesame seeds, for garnishing

  • Oil, for greasing

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and white part of spring onion. Fry for 2 minutes.

  • Add garlic sauce and simmer for another 2 minutes.

  • Pour in water, add K&N’s Stok cube, and cook until dissolved.

  • Gradually add slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.

  • Fry K&N’s Tender Pops as per packet instructions. Toss them into the sauce.

  • Sprinkle with sliced red chillies and green part of spring onion. Cook for a minute, then turn off the flame.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds.

  • Heat a sizzler plate, grease with oil, transfer the prepared Chinese Chicken with Garlic Sauce, and serve.

Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 1½ tsp brown sugar

Method:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Set aside.
