China Launches PIESAT-1 Sensing Satellites

Islamabad: China successfully launched the PIESAT-1 remote sensing satellite into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern China’s Shanxi Province at 6:50 pm on Thursday.
A Long March-2D carrier rocket successfully launched it to place new remote sensing satellites into the desired orbit. They will mainly provide commercial remote-sensing data services. This mission was the 469th flight of the Long March carrier rockets.
