Chance of Rain With Intermittent Thundershowers in Karachi Today

Karachi: There are chances of rain in Karachi today (Friday) with occasional thundershowers.
According to meteorological analysts, thunderstorm cells are active in the coastal regions of Balochistan, potentially leading to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder in Ormara and nearby areas.
A portion of this weather system is shifting towards the coastal areas of Sindh, increasing the likelihood of heavy rainfall later in the afternoon.
The Department of Meteorology reports a minimum temperature of 18.5 degrees Celsius and expects the maximum temperature to reach 26 degrees Celsius in Karachi. In Shahr-e-Quaid, winds are blowing from the southeast at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour, with a humidity level of 65%.
Regarding precipitation across the country, Bannu and its surroundings witnessed rainfall for the second consecutive day.
Islamabad and Rawalpindi experienced a drop in temperature due to rain, with the precipitation likely to persist for another two days.
Similarly, Kohat city and nearby areas also experienced colder weather due to rainfall. Quetta and its surroundings continue to receive rainfall, as well as Muzaffarabad and its neighboring areas.
