Celebrities Rally Against Alleged Rape Incident at LCWU

Islamabad: In response to shocking reports of an alleged rape of a female student at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), several prominent Pakistani stars, including Mahira Khan, Mishi Khan, Feroze Khan, Amar Khan, Nazish Jahangir, and Sami Khan, have taken to social media to voice their condemnation.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage, leading to protests both online and on the streets, with confrontations between students and security personnel resulting in multiple injuries.
Mahira Khan shared a video of the student protests on her Instagram, labeling the situation as “shameful.” Mishi Khan also expressed her deep sorrow over the incident, urging support for the students who continued to protest despite threats of expulsion and degree cancellations from the college.
Feroze Khan showed solidarity with the demonstrators, posting on Instagram: “We want justice,” while Amar Khan highlighted a video where a student claimed that the college management was threatening them with expulsion if they persisted in their protests.
Amar remarked, “What an absolute shame. Hope both the institute and constitution act promptly.”
Sami Khan shared an update on the situation, stating, “Astagfirullah, Ya Allah reham Farma.”
Meanwhile, actor Bilal Qureshi condemned the actions of the college guard, stating, “What is going on? The guard has raped the girl and the police are attacking students. There should be some shame.”
The collective response from the entertainment industry reflects the urgency and seriousness of the issue, calling for justice and accountability in the wake of this distressing incident.
