Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has launched its Technology and Digitalization Wing block, marking a significant step towards modernization and operational efficiency.

This development is part of CDA’s transition to a corporate model and collaborative work culture, aimed at streamlining services and boosting productivity, according to a press release.

Chairman Randhawa highlighted that the future of public service delivery lies in adopting modern technology and corporate best practices.

The newly established Technology and Digitalization Wing block, now operational, is equipped with advanced hardware and software to enhance overall efficiency.

The corporate-style work environment, featuring open desks and an open-door policy, is designed to promote transparency and foster greater efficiency in day-to-day operations.

The block’s introduction of modern technology is part of a broader initiative aimed at increasing transparency and improving performance across the CDA.

Initially implemented in the Technology and Digitalization Wing, this corporate culture and advanced technological infrastructure will soon be expanded to other CDA departments.

A key feature of the wing is its advanced e-filing system, which facilitates a paperless work environment. This system will replace the traditional paper-based filing process, significantly reducing the reliance on physical documents, cutting down on paper usage, and lowering operational costs.

This transition is expected to streamline processes, improve document management, and contribute to a more efficient public service.

The initiative aligns with the broader national vision of a ‘Digital Islamabad’, with the CDA taking a leading role in its operational implementation.
