Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is actively working to enhance citizen facilities, with a focus on installing pedestrian bridges at three different locations.
These initiatives aim to facilitate safe pedestrian crossings on the Srinagar Highway, ultimately reducing road accidents.
In a recent press release, it was announced that due to the installation of one of these three pedestrian bridges, Sector G-7/4, opposite the Chairman’s Office CDA, Metro Bus Station, Srinagar Highway, will be closed for all types of traffic starting from 10 pm on January 28, 2024.
The CDA has reached out to the Islamabad Traffic Police, urging them to organize alternative routes promptly to ensure minimal inconvenience for the public.
Additionally, citizens are encouraged to cooperate fully with the Islamabad Traffic Police to prevent any untoward incidents during this period. These measures align with CDA’s commitment to providing improved facilities and ensuring public safety.
