CDA Chief Reviews Progress on Development Projects

Islamabad: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, chaired a high-level meeting on Saturday to review the progress of various ongoing projects. Senior CDA officials participated in the meeting.

Chairman Randhawa emphasized the importance of maintaining financial discipline to ensure the authority’s financial stability.

He directed department heads to submit monthly reports detailing their progress and achievements. Additionally, the Resource Wing was instructed to collaborate with the Member Finance to strengthen revenue collection efforts.

The meeting also reviewed the Islamabad Beautification Plan, which includes installing traditional and cultural sculptures, landscaping, and enhancing median strips throughout the city. The first phase of the digital parking initiative is set to launch soon.

Discussions were held on expanding entertainment options in Islamabad, including cinemas and recreational facilities.

Furthermore, the meeting highlighted upcoming projects specifically designed for overseas Pakistanis, reaffirming the CDA’s commitment to meeting the needs of all stakeholders.
