CDA Auctions Plots for Record-Breaking Rs 2.45B on First Day

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) commenced a three-day auction of commercial plots in Islamabad, generating an impressive Rs 2.45 billion on the first day alone.

The auction, held at the Gandhara Citizens Club in F-9 Park, witnessed robust participation from investors, with two prime plots in the highly sought-after F-8 sector selling for record-breaking prices. Plot 13-G was sold for Rs 1.22 billion, while Plot 16-D fetched Rs 1.25 billion.

This auction presents a lucrative opportunity for investors to acquire commercial plots in prime areas of the federal capital, including Blue Area and Class III shopping centers. Additionally, plots designated for motels and apartments are also available for bidding.

A committee led by the Member Finance is ensuring the transparency of the auction process. The CDA aims to create a favorable business environment, and this auction is anticipated to further stimulate commercial activity in the capital.

The auction will continue for two more days, giving investors additional opportunities to benefit from Islamabad’s thriving real estate market.
