Car,Truck Collision Claims Six Lives near Sheikhupura

Islamabad: A fatal collision between a car and a truck near Ravi Ryan on GT Road, close to Sheikhupura, has resulted in the death of six individuals.

The victims, a family returning to Gujranwala after attending a wedding in Khanewal, included three children from the same family.

Additionally, three women sustained serious injuries in the tragic accident.

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the truck driver was negligent in maneuvering near Ravi Ryan, leading to the fatal collision.

Rescue personnel have identified the deceased as 22-year-old Shahbaz, 35-year-old Zaheer Abbas, 35-year-old Aram Shahzadi, 10-year-old Abdul Wahab, 8-year-old Ayan, and 6-year-old Iman Fatima. The injured parties have been named as Naseem, Shamim, and Khadija.

The incident highlights the devastating consequences of road accidents, emphasizing the importance of cautious driving and adherence to traffic regulations.
