Can India Afford Pant’s Injury?
News Desk
Islamabad: The Indian cricket team is closely monitoring the situation regarding wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant’s injury ahead of the Champions Trophy.
Pant, who suffered a muscle strain during practice at the International Cricket Council (ICC) Academy in Dubai today, underwent a medical check-up by the team’s physio. Fortunately, the injury is not deemed serious.
Despite the setback, Pant participated in light practice, and KL Rahul also took part in wicketkeeping drills, providing reassurance for the team’s preparation for the upcoming tournament.
