Bus Crash on M4 Motorway Leaves 2 Dead, 5 Injured

Islamabad: A tragic road accident on the M4 Motorway near Abdul Hakeem Shorkot in the early hours of Saturday morning claimed the lives of two people and left five others injured.

According to Rescue 1122, the collision occurred when a passenger bus lost control and crashed into another bus, causing catastrophic damage to both vehicles, as reported by a private news channel.

The impact of the crash was severe, and rescue teams faced significant challenges in extricating survivors from the wreckage. Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

The deceased were also taken to a hospital for autopsies and other formalities.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Initial reports suggest that the bus driver’s loss of control was likely the primary factor contributing to the tragedy.
