Islamabad: Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled the most budget-friendly addition to its Redmi K series with the introduction of the Redmi A3.
Sporting a 7.6-inch display and enhanced security features like a fingerprint sensor, the phone operates on the Android 14 OS and incorporates the Helio G360 chip in various memory configurations.
The Redmi A3 boasts a substantial 5,000 mAh battery complemented by a 10-watt fast charger. On the rear, a 5-megapixel selfie camera is featured, alongside two rear cameras, with the primary camera offering 8 megapixels and the secondary camera with slightly fewer pixels. Despite the reduced pixel count, Xiaomi asserts that the phone’s camera technology is advanced with updated sensors.
Offered with 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM options, and 64GB and 128GB storage capacities, the Redmi A3 is competitively priced.
Xiaomi has set the starting price for the 3GB RAM and 64GB memory variant at Rs 24,000, the 4GB RAM and 128GB memory variant at Rs 27,000, and the highest configuration of 6GB RAM and 126GB memory at just Rs 30,000.
Initially released in select countries, the Redmi A3 will soon be available in other regional markets, including Pakistan.
