Seoul:  Global superstars BTS have revealed major details about their highly anticipated comeback, confirming a 14-song album titled Arirang and a special free concert in Seoul.

This marks the group’s first full-group release in over three years following mandatory military service, signaling a powerful new chapter for millions of ARMY fans worldwide, including a large South Asian audience.

The full tracklist for Arirang was shared on March 3 through BTS’s official social media accounts, including @bts.bighitofficial. Accompanied by striking graphics highlighting song titles and member credits, the announcement immediately sparked global conversation.

Arirang is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, at 1 pm KST, available in multiple physical editions, including vinyl versions themed around each member. The album was developed with extensive member involvement, reinforcing BTS’s creative autonomy.

All 14 tracks feature contributions from RM, with SUGA and j-hope also heavily involved in songwriting and production. International producers such as Pdogg, Diplo, Mike Will Made-It, and Ryan Tedder are attached to the project.

Drawing inspiration from Korea’s iconic folk song, the album reflects the group’s cultural roots while blending global pop influences.

Arirang runs approximately 41 minutes, with SWIM as the lead single. The album also includes an interlude titled No. 29, providing a reflective moment.

Notably, there are no external collaborations, making it a pure OT7 project showcasing the synergy of all seven members. Pre-orders opened on January 16, 2026, with teaser content steadily building fan excitement.

Alongside the album, BTS announced a free comeback concert, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, to be held on March 21, 2026, at 8 p.m. KST at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, near Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The open-air show will host up to 18,000 fans through advance registration and will feature 50 dancers and traditional musicians, blending modern performance with Korean cultural elements.

The concert will also be livestreamed globally on Netflix, allowing millions of fans worldwide to join. Seoul city officials approved the event in January 2026, pending safety reviews. This performance will kick off BTS’s 79-show Arirang World Tour, beginning in April 2026.

For BTS, Arirang represents more than a comeback—it embodies reunion, resilience, and a renewed connection with their global fanbase.
