Quetta: The Balochistan Traffic Engineering Bureau (BTEB) board meeting decided to establish a subcommittee of the finance department to examine the administrative and financial affairs of the Balochistan Traffic Bureau, Quetta.
While chairing the BTEB board meeting, Balochistan Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Mardan Khan Domki had directed on Tuesday to formulate a detailed plan for the permanent function of the BTEB.
Chief Minister stated that the proposed service rules for officers and personnel should be evaluated once more and presented at the next board meeting.
The only way the performance of the Traffic Engineering Bureau could be improved successfully is if all of the affiliated departments’ proposals were taken into consideration, Mir Mardan added.
CM Domki urged raising public awareness of traffic regulations to reduce traffic law infractions and maintain road safety.
Caretaker CM further stated that it is crucial for the Traffic Bureau to effectively use the resources entrusted to it and that it must deliver exceptional performance so that the general public can notice a noticeable difference. Agencies/APP
