Brothers Assault Sisters Over Property Dispute in Lahore

Lahore: In a disturbing incident in the Nawab Town area, two brothers violently assaulted their sisters after they demanded their rightful share in the family property. Thanks to the swift response of the Virtual Women police station, established under the Safe City initiative, the accused were apprehended by the police.
According to details, the incident escalated when the sisters requested their share in the property, leading the brothers to attack them. The victims were dragged into the street by their hair, and one of the sisters lost consciousness due to the severity of the assault.
Upon receiving a distress call on emergency helpline 15, the Virtual Women Police Station promptly dispatched police and rescue services to the scene. Initial reports suggest that the brothers, along with their wives, attacked the sisters using slaps and bricks.
The Safe City spokesperson confirmed that the Virtual Women police station ensured that the injured women were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Nawab Town police have since registered a case and arrested the accused. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
