Brazil Recalls Ambassador from Israel Over Gaza Comments

Islamabad: Tensions between Israel and Brazil escalated following the Brazilian president’s remarks concerning the situation in Gaza, prompting Brazil to recall its ambassador from Israel.

The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the Israeli Ambassador to Brazil will be summoned by the Foreign Office.

According to reports from a news agency, Israel declared the Brazilian President, De Silva, persona non grata in response to his statements.

The Israeli Foreign Minister stated that the Brazilian President would not be received in Israel until he retracts his remarks.
