Ingredients

For the Beef Mince (Keema)

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Beef mince – 1 kg
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 1 cup

For the Korean Sauce

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Red chili flakes – 1 tbsp
  • Honey – 1/4 cup
  • Sesame oil – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tsp
  • Prepared beef mince (keema)

For the Korean Burger

  • Burger buns (toasted) – as required
  • Burger Sauce – as required
  • Lettuce leaves – as required
  • Korean sauce with keema – as required
  • Cheese slices – as required

Directions

  1. Cook the Beef Mince:
    In a deep pan, heat oil and add the beef mince. Cook until it changes color. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2–3 minutes. Add water, cover, and cook until the mince is fully done. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Korean Sauce:
    In a separate pan, heat oil. Add red chili flakes and cook for 30 seconds. Add honey, sesame oil, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, and stir well. Add the cooked beef mince (keema) and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the Burger:
  • Take the bottom half of the toasted burger bun and generously spread Burger Sauce.
  • Add fresh lettuce leaves.
  • Spoon a generous amount of the Korean keema mixture on top.
  • Place a cheese slice over the meat mixture.
  • Cover with the top half of the bun.
