The crowd erupted in applause when ‘The King of Punjabi Rap’ remembered Moosewala at the start of the tribute. He continued by telling the story of the day he was told that a young artist from Punjab wanted to meet him. “I didn’t know who it was. I had a sudden knowledge that a young Punjabi musician was coming to see me. It turned out to be Sidhu Moosewala,” He remembered.

According to Bohemia, they hit it off right away and decided to write a song. “We decided to play ‘Same Beef’ together at that meeting, which is why I can still clearly recall it.” Rapper, composer, and record producer Bohemia has collaborated with a number of well-known Punjabi musicians, including Guru Randhawa, Mika Singh, Gippy Grewal, and others.

On May 29, 2022, Moosewala was shot more than 30 times by unidentified assailants in the Indian village of Jawaharke in the Mansa district.
