Islamabad: With Eid-ul-Fitr just around the corner, the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are witnessing a vibrant surge in bangle and henna stalls, catering to the festive spirit of citizens.

As Ramadan nears its end, bustling markets and shopping centers have been adorned with colorful bangles, intricate henna designs, and other Eid essentials, drawing large crowds, particularly women and children.

A local stall owner, Tanveer Baksh, highlighted the seasonal demand, saying, “The demand for bangles and henna skyrockets during Eid. We have stocked a diverse range of designs and colors to suit our customers’ preferences.”

The prices of bangles and henna vary, with affordable options starting at Rs 50, while more elaborate designs are priced above Rs 1,000. Vendors are striving to provide budget-friendly choices to ensure accessibility for all.

Excited about Eid preparations, a customer, Fatima, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Henna makes me feel connected to my culture and traditions. The intricate designs are truly beautiful.” She added that bangle shopping is her favorite part of Eid festivities.

“I can spend hours trying on different designs and colors. These stalls are not just about shopping; they offer a chance to bond with friends and family while enjoying the festive atmosphere,” she said.

With Eid celebrations approaching, the thriving henna and bangle stalls continue to add charm and excitement to the festive season in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
