Bandit Leader Dies Following Punjab Police Retaliation for Attack

Islamabad: In a recent attack by bandits on a police van in the Kacha area, Punjab Police responded with force, resulting in the death of the main accused, Bashir Shar, while his two accomplices, Naseer and Gadi Kush alias Meena, were seriously injured.
Bashir Shar, a notorious bandit, and his accomplices were responsible for the martyrdom of 12 policemen the previous day.
IG Punjab Police, Dr Usman Anwar, stated that the police have taken strong action against the robbers. The operation to eliminate those involved in the incident is ongoing, and all suspects will be brought to justice.
The bandits had launched a sudden attack on a police convoy at the Mochka camp in the Kacha area last night, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 police personnel and injuries to 8 others.
In response, the police initiated immediate action, leading to Bashir Shar’s death.
Condolences Pour In
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly, condemned the attack on two police vans in Rahim Yar Khan.
Expressing profound sorrow over the loss of police personnel, he extended heartfelt condolences to the martyrs’ families and wished a swift recovery for the injured officers.
He praised the sacrifices made by the police and security forces in the fight against terrorism and maintaining law and order, affirming that these sacrifices will not be in vain. He also paid tribute to the martyred policemen and prayed for their elevated ranks.
Iranian Ambassador Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam also expressed deep condolences to the Pakistani government and people following the tragic attack.
He extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured. Ambassador Moghadam emphasized Iran’s solidarity with Pakistan in combating terrorism and reiterated the shared commitment to regional peace and stability.
Chairman Senate, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, strongly condemned the attack on police vehicles in Rahim Yar Khan.
He expressed deep sadness over the martyrdom and injury of several police personnel, extended condolences to the grieving families, and called for decisive action against the criminals in the Kacha area.
Chairman Gilani prayed for the eternal peace of the martyrs’ souls, offered condolences to their families, and wished a swift recovery for the injured officials.
