Balochistan intermediate results show 90.3% success rate

Quetta: The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) on Tuesday announced the results of the annual intermediate examinations, declaring 91,400 students successful.
Chairman BBISE Muhammad Ishaq said that a total of 101,193 candidates appeared in the examinations, of which 91,400 passed, recording an overall success rate of 90.3 percent.
In the 11th class examinations, 46,737 candidates appeared, out of which 40,363 were declared successful, with a pass percentage of 86.4. For the 12th class, 54,456 students appeared and 51,037 passed, showing a success rate of 93.7 percent.

According to the results, Syed Abdul Matin, son of Syed Rahimuddin and a student of Government Inter College Killi Haramzai in Pishin district, secured the first position in the province with 1,051 marks.
Syed Israr Ahmed, son of Syed Sidruddin of Government Inter College Pir Alizai, and Iqra Faiz, daughter of Faiz Muhammad of Islamia Girls College Quetta, jointly clinched second position with 1,050 marks. The third position was shared by three students — Bibi Safa, daughter of Syed Nasrullah of Taamar-e-Nau Girls College Quetta, Umeema, daughter of Abdul Salam of Cantt Public Degree College Jinnah Town Quetta, and Bibi Adila of Islamia Girls College Quetta — each securing 1,049 marks.
The chairman said students could check their results online at https://result.bbiseqta.edu.pk. He congratulated the successful candidates, their parents and teachers, adding that education was the only way to ensure a better future for the young generation.
