Ingredients for Dough:

  • 5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp Yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups Full Cream Milk

Ingredients for Filling:

  • 1/4 cup Icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp Cinnamon powder

Ingredients for Topping:

  • 1 pack Dairy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Icing sugar

Ingredients for Cinnamon Rolls:

  • Prepared dough
  • Butter for brushing, as required
  • Prepared filling, as required
  • Prepared topping, as required

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, yeast, salt, baking powder, sugar, melted unsalted butter, and full cream milk. Knead the mixture until it forms a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rest until it doubles in size.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    In a bowl, mix together the icing sugar and cinnamon powder. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Topping:
    In a separate bowl, combine the dairy cream and icing sugar. Mix well and set aside.
  4. Assemble the Cinnamon Rolls:
    • Take the prepared dough and roll it out into a rectangular sheet using a rolling pin.
    • Spread the prepared filling evenly over the dough sheet.
    • Carefully roll the dough sheet from one end to the other, forming a log shape.
    • Using a thread, cut the log into 10-11 equal parts, creating a swiss roll shape.
  5. Bake the Cinnamon Rolls:
    • Place the rolls in a butter-greased baking tray.
    • Cover the rolls and let them rest for 15 minutes.
    • Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Once the rolls are baked, drizzle the prepared topping over them.
