Attackers Killed 2 Polio Workers, Policeman In Bajaur

Peshawar: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Bajaur district saw two casualties, including a police constable and an anti-polio campaign worker, during an attack by unknown assailants on Wednesday. The deceased were part of an escorting anti-polio vaccination team when unknown persons opened fire on them.

Police constable Luqman (33) as well as another victim identified as Abu Zarr (25) working with the polio teams have died on site due to multiple gunshot wounds. As soon as they were notified of the incident, a medical team from Rescue 1122 Bajaur arrived at the scene and took away bodies to District Headquarters Hospital located in Khar.

Meanwhile, Khar police began collecting evidence from the crime scene while interviewing witnesses to gather more information for their investigation.
