Atif Aslam Shares Emotional Tribute After Father’s Passing

Islamabad: Renowned singer Atif Aslam took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute following the passing of his father, Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam, who had been battling a prolonged illness.

In a deeply emotional post, Atif referred to his father as his “Iron Man” and requested fans to remember the family in their prayers. The post featured a touching photo of Atif kissing his father, accompanied by the Quranic verse:

“إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ”

(Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.)

He wrote:

“A final goodbye to my Iron Man.
Rest in love, Abu g 💚
Keep us in your prayers.”

Outpouring of Support

Following the announcement, condolences and messages of sympathy poured in from fans, fellow artists, and public figures across social media. Many expressed their grief and offered prayers, recognizing the close bond Atif shared with his late father.

Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam passed away earlier today in Lahore. His funeral prayers were held in the evening at Valencia Town, Lahore, attended by family, friends, and well-wishers. Media coverage was respectfully restricted.

Atif Aslam was also scheduled to perform at a concert today organized in collaboration with the Punjab government. However, the event was cancelled in light of his father’s passing.
