Athletics Federation to Sponsor Arshad Nadeem on Umrah

Islamabad: The Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) has announced plans to send the javelin thrower on Umrah along with his family; wife, children, and parents.

During a press conference, the Chairman of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP), Major General (R) Muhammad Akram Sahi, proudly announced Nadeem’s remarkable achievement.

He expressed immense pride, emphasizing that Nadeem’s success was not only a personal victory but also the fulfilment of a long-standing goal for the federation.

He noted that Nadeem’s resilience and unwavering determination were key factors in his success, which serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes across the nation.

The chairman underscored the importance of perseverance in the face of challenges, pointing out that Nadeem’s journey was filled with obstacles that only fuelled his desire to excel.

He further commended the overwhelming support and enthusiasm shown by the Pakistani people, acknowledging that the warm and enthusiastic welcome Nadeem received upon his return home was a clear reflection of the nation’s pride in its sports heroes.
