ATC Issues Non-Bailable Warrants for KP CM, Other PTI Leaders

Islamabad. Islamabad’s anti-terrorism court has issued non-bailable warrants for KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and other PTI leaders, including Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi.
The court has also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Raja Rashid Hafeez and Amir Mehmood Kayani, while Umar Tanveer Butt has been declared an absconder due to continuous absence.
A case has been registered against the PTI leaders at the I-9 police station under terrorism provisions. Ali Amin Gandapur’s bail application related to the judicial complex vandalism case has been rejected.
Additionally, Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of the Anti-Terrorism Court granted Faisal Javed a request for exemption from attendance and adjourned the hearing until October 3. Ali Amin Gandapur has also submitted an application for exemption.
Prosecutor Raja Naveed emphasized the accused’s ongoing violations, stating that the court should consider their conduct. Judge Sipra remarked that Gandapur had previously sought exemption while in good health during a meeting.
In court, lawyer Zahoorul Hasan urged the court to approve the request for immunity, assuring that Gandapur would be present.
