The crash occurred due to a technical failure and poor road conditions. Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, providing first aid before transferring the injured to Muzaffarabad for further treatment.

In Faisalabad, a woman identified as Hafsa (40) died on the spot, and six others, including children, were injured when a speeding truck collided with a car at the Gatwala toll plaza on Sheikhupura Road.
