Lahore: Punjab Minister for Agriculture Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani announced that a new vegetable market will be established in Ravi City, with plans to make it the best market in Asia.

The minister noted that to facilitate laborers and vendors, Metro and Speedo bus routes will extend to the market. Ravi Urban Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Imran Amin stated that the market will be located at Kala Khatai on 300 acres of land, with access to all major routes.

The infrastructure will meet international standards, and export zones will be established for the export of vegetables and fruits.
