Islamabad: Awais Munir of Pakistan was defeated by Iran’s Ali Karagozlu in the finals of the ACBS Asian Men’s Snooker Championship held in Doha, Qatar, securing the silver medal.

Naveed Kapadia, the manager of the Pakistan team, stated that Awais Munir faced Iran’s Ali Karagozlu in the final match.

Despite a strong effort from Awais Munir, Ali Karagozlu staged a remarkable comeback, winning five consecutive frames to claim the gold medal.

Ali Karagozlu secured victory with frame scores of 62-52, 58-29, 90-35, 68-34, and 70-44 in his favor.
