Faisalabad: A food safety team discovered a factory producing counterfeit honey and disposed of 60 liters of the product.
Official sources reported on Thursday that a team, led by Food Safety Officer Komal Adnan, conducted a raid near Dhudiwala Chowk and uncovered the artificial preparation of honey.
The team confiscated 20 liters of glucose, rose flower petals, 60 liters of counterfeit honey, and various other ingredients from the facility. The police have filed a case against the owner under the Punjab Food Authority Act.
