Arshad Nadeem Qualifies for Final of AACs Javelin Throw

Lahore: Pakistan’s star athlete and Olympic medalist Arshad Nadeem has qualified for the final of the javelin throw competition at the Asian Athletics Championships, currently underway in South Korea.
Competing in Group A of the qualifying round, Arshad delivered an impressive performance by hurling the javelin a distance of 86.34 meters in his very first attempt — the longest throw of the round — comfortably securing his place in the final.
India’s Naresh Chopra registered a throw of 76.67 meters, while Pakistan’s Yasir Sultan also advanced to the final with a throw of 76.07 meters.
The final of the javelin throw event is scheduled to take place tomorrow, May 31. Arshad Nadeem is considered a strong contender for the title, and all eyes will be on him as he aims to bring glory to Pakistan on the continental stage.
