Apple Unveils Creator Studio Subscription Bundle for Pro Apps
News Desk
Islamabad: Apple on Tuesday announced a new subscription bundle, Apple Creator Studio, bringing together its professional creative apps under a single plan while introducing premium features for its productivity software.
The Apple Creator Studio bundle includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Compressor and MainStage, along with enhanced features for Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform. The subscription will be available starting January 28.
Priced at $12.99 per month or $129 per year, the bundle is offered as a universal purchase across Apple platforms and can be shared with up to six members of an Apple Family Sharing group.
Apple is also offering a one-month free trial. An education discount lowers the price to $2.99 per month or $29.99 annually. Customers who purchase a new Mac or select iPad models will receive three months of free access.
Apple said customers can continue to purchase the Mac versions of individual pro apps as one-time purchases. The core versions of Keynote, Pages and Numbers will remain free, with the subscription unlocking additional premium features.

As part of the update, Apple is introducing new capabilities across its professional software lineup. Final Cut Pro gains transcription-based search, beat detection for syncing video to music, and an AI-powered Montage Maker for automated video edits.
Logic Pro adds a Synth Player for AI Session Players, Chord ID for converting audio into chord progressions, and an expanded sound library. The iPad version of Logic Pro also receives Quick Swipe Comping and Music Understanding features that allow loop searches using natural language.
Pixelmator Pro, acquired by Apple in late 2024, is being expanded to the iPad for the first time with Apple Pencil support. A new Warp tool will be available across all versions of the app.
For productivity apps, the Creator Studio introduces a Content Hub offering curated images and graphics, along with new premium templates and themes.
Apple is also integrating image-generation tools from OpenAI. Some beta features will be included in the bundle, such as tools that generate draft Keynote presentations from text outlines and “Magic Fill” in Numbers, which can create formulas and complete tables based on detected patterns. Premium features for Freeform are expected to roll out later this year.
Apple’s move aligns with a broader industry trend toward bundled creative software subscriptions, similar to offerings from companies such as Adobe and Affinity, while retaining one-time purchase options for professional users who prefer them.
