According to Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa officials, over 1.2 million children will be administered vaccine drops during the campaign.

In Balochistan, a polio vaccination campaign is being conducted in Awaran, Dera Bugti, Gwadar, Hub, Jafarabad, Naseerabad, SohbatPur, Khuzdar, Lasbela and Usta Mohammad districts.

Health officials stated that the challenge of polio still existed and emphasised the need for all to work together to eradicate the menace.
