Islamabad: Fresh speculation surrounding former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has once again taken over social media, with unverified reports claiming he is set to marry television actress Vaneeza Sattar on February 27.

Neither Malik nor Sattar has issued any statement confirming the rumour, yet the claims have spread rapidly across digital platforms, triggering intense debate and mixed reactions from fans.

The latest round of online chatter comes just weeks after Malik’s marriage to actress Sana Javed, whom he wed on January 20, 2024, following his separation from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.

Malik and Mirza, who married in 2010, ended their long-standing marriage in 2024 after more than a decade together. They share a son, who currently resides with Mirza.

Malik’s first marriage was to Ayesha Siddiqui in 2002, which ended in divorce nearly eight years later.

While there has been no official indication of any issues in his current marriage to Sana Javed, persistent online speculation has kept Malik’s personal life under scrutiny. Observers note that much of the conversation appears to be driven by social media trends rather than confirmed developments.

Meanwhile, interest has also turned toward Vaneeza Sattar, a rising face in Pakistan’s television industry. The Karachi-based actress has recently gained attention for her performance in the drama serial Laadli, where she portrays Nazo, a negative character that has drawn praise for its depth and intensity.

A graduate of Karachi University, Sattar comes from a financially stable background and frequently shares glimpses of her close-knit family life on social media, particularly moments with her mother and sister.

As speculation continues to swirl, there has been no official confirmation from either party, leaving the reports firmly in the realm of rumour.
