ANF Seizes 188 Kg Drugs, Arrests Six

Rawalpindi: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested six suspected drug peddlers in separate operations and seized a total of 188 kg of drugs in the last 24 hours, according to an ANF (Headquarters) press release issued on Thursday.

At Multan Airport, 800 grams of ice was recovered from a passenger bound for Jeddah.

Near the North Bypass in Peshawar, 52.8 kg of opium and 61.2 kg of hashish were seized from a vehicle, and two suspects were arrested.

In a third operation, 48 kg of hashish was found in a parcel sent to Karachi from a courier office on Ring Road, Peshawar.

Near Chenab Toll Plaza in Gujarat, 18 kg of hashish was recovered from a suspect.

In Bahria Phase 4, Islamabad, 4.8 kg of hashish was seized from a drug pusher.

In Badami Bagh, Lahore, 2.4 kg of hashish was recovered from a drug dealer.

Investigations are underway, and cases will be registered against the arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
