ANF Recovers 252 Kg of Narcotics Across Pakistan

Rawalpindi: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has successfully executed seven operations across the country, resulting in the recovery of 252 kg of drugs valued at Rs 150 million and the arrest of nine individuals.

In the first operation, 3.6 kg of opium and 1 kg of hashish were seized from a vehicle intercepted near the M-1 Toll Plaza in Islamabad.

Four suspects, including two women, were apprehended. Additionally, 400 grams of hashish were recovered from a suspect arrested near a university in Rawalpindi.

In another operation, 530 grams of ice were confiscated from an individual traveling by bus in Rawalpindi. The suspect reportedly admitted to supplying drugs to students at educational institutions.

A raid outside the Karachi railway station led to the seizure of 2.4 kg of hashish and the arrest of one individual.

In Arif Chaman Village, 75 kg of heroin were recovered, while 7 kg of hashish and 2 kg of ice were seized from the Hub area in Balochistan.

The largest haul occurred near Jable Noor in Quetta, where 160 kg of hashish was recovered from a tractor trolley, resulting in the arrest of two suspects.

Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been filed against those detained, and investigations are ongoing.
